AEW und Eniwa found car-sharing company «Swiss E-Car AG»

AEW Energie AG and Eniwa AG jointly founded the car sharing company “Swiss E-Car AG” on January 22, 2024 and each hold a 50% stake in the young company. The two energy suppliers have already been working closely together in the field of e-mobility for four years. The car sharing service focuses on sustainable mobility. The success to date confirms the initiative of the two companies and, with “Swiss E-Car AG”, provides for the national expansion of the service.

Current developments show strong growth in electric vehicles and car sharing concepts. This is reflected in the increasing demand for integrated mobility solutions. AEW Energie AG and Eniwa AG recognized this trend some time ago. They therefore jointly developed a car-sharing model that offers an all-electric vehicle fleet.

59 e-car sharing vehicles in five cantons with over 4,200 users

Switzerland-wide expansion of the e-car sharing offer
Swiss E-Car AG plans to expand its offering throughout Switzerland. The focus is on shared and future-oriented mobility in urban regions. Important partners in Swiss E-Car’s offering include cities, municipalities, energy suppliers and property
property owners who want to offer their customers an environmentally friendly mobility concept. Demand for car sharing services is also increasing among companies and in residential areas.
